Introduction
Since 1991 Granuflex has been the brandname for the products produced by Granuband B.V. and it plays an important role in the recycling of rubber.
Being a market leader in the Netherlands in the area of tyre recycling, we are making a significant contribution to building a long-lasting society.
Processing around 25 000 tons of tyres and rubber wast per year, Granuband is one of the biggest processing companies in Europe.

Our suppliers are local authority collection centres, scrap yards, garages, waste processors, and companies like Auto Recycling Nederland (ARN).
We process the material received into rubber tiles and granules.
After recycling, the products can be used for many purposes.
In this way, local authorities and car firms clear out their dump sites
and let us process the material in a responsible manner.

Unique in the Netherlands
Granuband strives to provide a service to the environment in a professional way.
After years of experimentation, we have developed a method where a tyre is separated
into rubber, iron, and nylon.
The pulverized rubber, or so-called rubber granulate, is then sifted into various fractions
and used for our own production of Granuflex® rubber tiles in various sizes and colours.

Thanks to a number of unique properties, Granuflex® rubber tiles are an excellent
alternative for indoors and outdoors with a host of applications as patio tiles, roofing tiles,
safety tiles (playgrounds), etc.
Besides the Granuflex® rubber tiles, we also supply rubber granulate in various
sizes, for use as a shock-absorbing underlayer for sports fields, gyms, and artificial lawns.

Quality of our products
Through the use of new techniques for coating of rubber granulates and devulcanization of rubber, we strive for constant quality improvement of our product.
In order to guarantee this, Granuflex has the ISO 9000/2001 certificate, the Environment seal certificate, the processing certificate, test reports and the required national and international transport permits.
Our progressive way of production guarantees the highest possible purity of the granulate.
Impurities such as glass, sand, stones and nonferrous materials are filtered out from the rubber, the textile is removed by vacuuming, and the last traces of steel are removed by magnets.

We assure a clean and pure product.
Quality, safety and a better environment are important values to us.

Future
Granuband BV has grown very strong in recent years.
Since 2002, Granuband has owned 2 hectares of land with possibilities for growth
in the western harbour region of Amsterdam.
With a factory hall of 2600 m2, there are now 30 employees working in the area of recycling. Granuband is established in Amsterdam and Nederweert and also has a joint venture in the northern Netherlands.
We are striving to transform a quantity of scrap rubber as large as possible into usable rubber granulate.
The expectation is that, in the near future, we will be able to supply the cleaned and devulcanized granulate to international tyre makers.
